Because we are going to be able to replicate what we already did in EthLatam Buenos Aires side event called "La Previa". And we are going to have presence on Chile event that will be very important for community building.
Ethereum Santiago will be the main local Web3 event this year. The Graph x Chainlink side event will convoque devs from all over the country and abroad. This event will be the first stone to build a Chilean Graph Community, it will help to make discover the Network locally, bring new builders and new participants to the ecostystem.
foster & grow the German Graph community in social channels to promote the use case of what the Graph does and help educate people on how the Graph works ( delegating, etc )
A Telegram bot (notification framework) which currently provides Curators, Indexers and others (in multiple telegram groups/channel) with (crucial) near realtime information about events happening in The Graph Mainnet (Subgraphs, Signals, Query Fees, 'Listed' ETH address activities, etc).
As I hope many of the community now know what the chatbot is, I will give a short explanation and provide a link to the German chatbot that is currently in Phase 2 BETA testing. Once this is finished I will continuous improve it as per the current English chatbot, and I will start building the Spanish chatbot. The target date for this is 18th October 2022. www.GRTDataHub.com/GERchatBot The German chatbot answers any questions that the user may have about The Graph. If the user asks in either German or English it will respond in German. I know that many of the community members can write English well, sometimes broken English but it is good enough for the chatbot. It also provides them with links to the relevant documentation along with text and video tutorials so that you can seek further information if they wish. The current documentation via the links is in English but this is being translated to German and a new link being provided, this will be linked to a page within the app. At the time of submitting this grant the German chatbot has been built and is in Phase 2 BETA, being tested by multiple German community members and updated to keep the most up to date with new GRT news and projects. This will ensure the chatbot question set can grow to a competent level where it can answer any question that the user has in regard to The Graph and respond with an informative, educational and correct answer. I will start building the chatbot asap after finishing the German chatbot.
I'm convinved that this event will help stimulate ideation and discussion around new and novel subgraph ideas built using the Graph Protocol for the African context and with African user adoption in mind. Beyond that lies the opportunity for new ideas, projects, relationships to be launched from a community with the shared goal of pioneering web3 adoption and development in Africa. The goal of this Summit should be to introduce The Graph ecosystem and spark interest among the participants to use The Graph ecosystem.
- Bring new developers to The Graph Ecosystem - Networking - Community Creation - Educate people about the protocol. - Grow the hispanic community. - The Graph awarenes
I’d like to think this contribution will bring a smile to the face of any person who receives a custom Graph Advocates sticker. While not a revolutionary engineering marvel, I think stickers (and swag more generally) serve an important purpose to recognize community members for their contributions and to help promote our community through free advertising. Many people adorn their laptops with stickers so I envision well-placed Graph Advocates stickers might warrant a question or two from curious sticker admirers. The key to broader web3 adoption involves human-to-human conversation and stickers can be a vehicle to start a great chat.
This project will allow a big regional community to learn more about the Graph and understand it better in their own language !
The chatbots will educate newcomers to Web3 and The Graph, along with enhancing the onboarding of the Urdu, Hindi and Ukrainian speaking communities, providing content to these community that may not be currently available is most circumstances. The GRTDataHub Chatbot provides the most up to date documentation, text and video tutorials in seconds of receiving the question from a user; with translated documents and tutorials and have not previously been available or easily accessible to these communities. This instant support in whatever role they would like to take part in The Graph ecosystem will ensure new GRT holders from these communities can contribute promptly and with accurate and current information / tutorials on how to do so. Not everyone learns the same way, some cannot easily interpret instruction or guides through reading text alone. I have made an active effort to ensure that video tutorials are also included within the chatbot response where possible. So that all users can get the most out of this tool.
Visibility and knowledge of how the graph works to people who are into web3
The Blockchain Conference is an education event which will help educate people about Web 3 and onboard more enthusiasts/developers into the graph ecosystem
This project will allow our regional community to learn more about the Graph and and to seek a roadmap as a subgraph developer in graph's ecosystem as majority of the audience will be technical !

Octaloop has been conducting events in India since 2016. We have a strong network of local communities in each city in India. We have a great network of developers through the meetups and hackathons we conducted in the past. This is more than enough for the exposure and expansion of Graph in India.
My hope for how this project will impact the Graph is listed above in the description. But I would like to add that after partnering with one Text Translator Advocate to provide the newsletter in Spanish each week (!) I am looking forward to partnering with other Advocates to incorporate additional languages in the future. My hope is that this will attract more non-english speaking folks to join The Graph community.
The event will impact in devs for explain in a deeply way about creation and migration to L2 in Spanish.
The purpose of this grant is to establish and support the GraphGuru Local Chapter for The Graph India Community. Through targeted funding, we aim to create a dedicated platform that fosters education, skill development, and collaboration in The Graph graph ecosystem. This grant will enable us to organize local meetups, set up the GraphGuru infrastructure, host small meetups, strategic partnerships, and enhance our online presence. By doing so, we will empower Graph enthusiasts to become experts, facilitate knowledge sharing, and cultivate a vibrant Graph protocol community in India. What we want to achieve with The Graph India is: -Empowering, supporting and providing guidance to bootstrap The Graph India community. -Create a sense of belonging for The Graph India community. Grow the developer community. -Avoid over delivering, but focusing on high quality meetups and building partnerships. -Avoid arranging meetups just for free swags but focus on connecting people and create long term retention. -Sharing projects developed using the Graph Protocol. -Creating opportunities for Indian developers to join the Graph Protocol ecosystem and pursue careers within the network.
The event will impact in devs for explain in a deeply way about creation and migration to L2 in Spanish. And this event will be the first event that The Graph organize in México.
